Hello, lucky friend! I'm the Money Tree, your charming and popular companion believed to bring good fortune, prosperity, and positive energy into your space. You can easily recognize me by my distinctive braided trunk and lush, hand-shaped leaves!
I'm a low-maintenance tropical plant famous for my stunning braided trunk and glossy, palmate leaves (that's just a fancy word for leaflets that grow like a hand!).
People love to place me in their homes and offices as a symbol of luck and abundance.
I adapt well to indoor life and add a stylish, vibrant touch to any desk, shelf, or corner.
I originally hail from the swampy tropical regions of Central and South America.
Please water me once every 1-2 weeks.
Always check the soil first—water only when the top 2-3 inches feel dry to the touch.
I dislike being waterlogged, so when in doubt, it's safer to underwater than overwater!
I thrive in bright, indirect light but am quite adaptable and can tolerate lower light conditions.
Please shield me from long periods of harsh, direct sunlight, as it can scorch my beautiful leaves.
I'm most comfortable in warm temperatures between 18°C and 27°C.
I'm sensitive to cold drafts and sudden temperature changes, so please keep me in a cozy spot.
Select a pot with sufficient drainage holes to prevent root rot.
Use a well-draining, peat-moss based potting mix.
Gently place me in the pot, keeping my braided trunk above the soil line.
Water me thoroughly after repotting to help me settle in.
Position me in a spot with medium to bright indirect sunlight.
Wipe my leaves gently with a damp cloth every few weeks to keep them dust-free and shiny.
I'm not a heavy eater!
Feed me with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer (diluted to half-strength) once a month during the spring and summer.
You can skip feeding me during the fall and winter when my growth slows down.
Scientific Name: Pachira aquatica

Great news! The ASPCA lists me as non-toxic to cats and dogs. I'm a safe and worry-free choice for homes with furry family members.
I'm a natural air purifier! I help remove harmful toxins like formaldehyde and benzene from your indoor environment, contributing to cleaner, fresher air for you to breathe.
Hey there!
